I think you can’t go wrong picking Jake Sanderson, but it’s hard to see the Sabres passing on Alexander Holtz if he’s still there.

Sabres can trade D depth for established forwards. Sanderson > Holtz

If sanderson is bpa, then take him. Would still prefer a forward, but unless hes playing this year, bpa is smart. Also the salaries look perfect. I wouldnt hate if they leaned on reinhart to try to get 6.5. Hes worth 7 in 2019-20, not sure if the new financial realities will set in though. Its a new world.

I still disagree with Sanderson's choice, but I admit it. I don't think Adams will trade Okposo with the first choice, he will probably want to keep as many picks as possible. I would also try to sign Craig Smith or Jesper Fast instead of Galchenyuk.

There's a good chance both D go before the Sabres pick, Ott could go D at 5, Det could surprise and Ana needs D.

Detroit wont pass up on the best forwards available after Byfield. Ottawa probably takes Drysdale, Anaheim doesnt really need LHD but its plausible
