Allen just set market for Goalies....above average Backup nets you 3rd, and if you compare stats only, Allen has better ones that Andersen which most of ppl consider a Starter.

So why would you waste two 2nds for below average one.....with 3,04 GAA and 91,4%...this non-sense with Georgiev to TML really has to stop

Georgiev & Campbell tandem would be failing even more then Bernier & Reimer one, despite Pietrangelo in front of them......

Also Holl with Rielly would be a disaster....Holl looks decent only in Pair with Muzzin where Muzzin gets 65% of job done....

you haven't watched Dermott and followed his career if you think he's a bust. I hope Leafs keep him, would be a great guy to keep on third pair with potential to make it up onto Muzzin's right side.

Not unreasonable for people to trade Dermott to Rangers on here given the fact that you have a need for quality NHL ready LHD.

while I agree that 2 2020 seconds might be a tad much, the main key difference between Georgiev and Allen is age, and expiry type - Georgiev is young, Allen is not. Georgiev is RFA, Allen is not. Georgiev's contract will cost less. Georgiev also definitely has starter potential, and I think to a degree Campbell might too. I don't think that tandem is as shaky as you might think if the leafs can play better team defence.

Totally agree on Holl. He's a 5/6/7th D when he's not with Muzzin, who I'd say does a fair bit more than your suggested 65% for that pair
