I'm just spit balling ideas here. Dumba is not a goal scoring defenceman, teams know the Wild have an internal cap. Your getting a young prospect who can be a middle six centre if developed properly, Dermott is a high risk high reward player. He is still young enough to be something. Kerfoot would be one of the Wild's best centre plus a pick to help for future. The Wild are stuck in purgatory and need a change. He is not going to be worth a Nylander and if the Wild wanted a winger I would have given you Johnsson with Kerfoot

It's time to do Mathews trades for Pateryn, Zuccarello, and Mayhew topped off with a 2nd and a 4th but leafs return a 6th.

Come on leaf fans, admit your defence is **** and that’s why you’ve never made it anywhere in the playoffs. Admit your team is full of individuals and lack a true leader. Dumba Would be a great addition to your lineup and is a prime target. Sacrifice some offence to fix your defence and stop thinking your mediocre pieces can land a top tier player. If you seriously think Robertson is going to be a goal scoring machine then move Nylander.

As a Leafs fan: do you think Dubas is playing NHL 20 on easy mode?

Would you trade Rielly for that package? Dumba isn't as valuable as Rielly but he's not that much lower

Why is NYI making that trade?

And then what's the deal with the marincin trade? Just bury him

Time for the reminder that the Leafs didn't lose this year because of a lack of defense.

They lost because their secondary scoring was silent.

I think the Wild equivalent of this is Greenway, Donato, a 2022 3rd, and Belpedio for Nylander

Yeah I'm not really arguing and honestly it was my first thought when we lost.

It was the next day when I was thinking back that it was interestingly not what led us to lose that series

(The previous Boston series for sure)
