I'd do this for 2nd Line (Skinner - Staal - Cozens/Mitts)

I think if we trade Pilut's rights, it should be to the Rangers, plus whatever else is fair value, to get our 3rd rounder back. And I think you over paid Reinhart and Olofsson. With a flat cap, RFA contracts are not going to be as high. Olofsson's not worth $5M in a non-pandemic year. He was not good at even strength.

Why do you think NYR would want him? especially for a third?

Cozens should be sheltered. I don't want another Mittelstadt scenario.

Putting him on the wing is sheltering him.

He has the skills for a top 6 player, the problem with Mitts is he was a top 6 center, they expected him to drive play and it was overwhelming...put the guy on the wing and get him some points and goals with staal driving the play and you get a good confident player quicker

Thing with Mittelstadt was he needed a year in the AHL before that Sheltered role. Putting him at 2C was something else.
