Honestly, Leddy wouldn't be a horrible Krug replacement. McAvoy or Carlo might make him better than Boychuk or Greene could

This team is a step down from this year's team. No additions, and I think the trades make things a lot worse. Toews is criminally underrated and still has room to grow in my opinion. I'd keep him. And the Isles would be crazy to break up the Beau-Nelson-Bailey 2nd line of this last playoff season, it was just too good. Only way I move Bailey is for overpayment.

I do like the Leddy trade, though I don't think the cap retention is necessary. He came off a pretty good postseason, shouldn't need to apologize for his value.

Devils trade can't happen, Toews is arguably our best d-man and with Palmieri expiring after next season, he's not the guy I'd target to improve the top-6.

With Toews back, the defense isn't as bad (on paper) as it is here and Hickey can go back to Bridgeport or get traded

Thank you. Holy sh*t, the amount of isles fans that want to trade toews is bizarre lol. He's the only isles defenseman that can drive offense at an elite level.
