Pronger is possibly a top 10 defenseman of all time, Keith and Chara are probably top 25, and Doughty maybe top 50?

I'd go Keith, Doughty, and Chara after that (in order of best; not biggest turd).

Doughty had like one or two really good years as a top 2-3 defenseman in the league. I don't know if Chara ever peaked that high though - although his longevity is way better. Might be the same with Keith.

If you're asking who had the better careers I'm ranking Doughty dead last, but in terms of peak he was pretty damn good. Chara has had an insane career but maybe the lowest peak, still.

Hmmm. Very hard to say with 2,3,4 slot as the number one guy there seems like an obvious choice.
I can’t say because I truly hold a ton of respect for longevity which very much alters answers. Keith in his prime easy to argue better than chara and doughty however his prime years seem to be a shorter window than doughty who is still doing his thing just on a bad team. Chara is a one of a kind it’s very hard to only look at when he was at his best because that’s over a very long time. Between those three I’d want chara then doughty then Keith but if can only have one in their absolute prime probably Keith.
