Toronto should have no interest in Matt Dumba. He's essentially a more expensive Tyson Barrie

Palmieri to leafs would have: (a) one of Sandin, Liljegren, Robertson and (b) the 2020 1st round pick. Or similar value.

There is 0 chance a 45 point player who is now turning 30 is worth that. That would be a heavy overpay. Especially that he only has 1 year left on his contract. This value in this AGM is not accurate, but the suggestion you gave is a big overpayment

It is not an overpay at all. Look at recent history...

JT Miller, 47 point player - traded for 1st+
Jason Zucker, 42 point player - traded for 1st+
Blake Coleman, 36 point player - traded for 1st+
JG Pageau, 42 point player, traded for 1st+
Kevin Hayes, 44 point player, traded for 1st+
Also...Kasperi Kapanen, 44-point player, traded for 1st+

The market dictates the price...someone will certainly offer B-prospect + 1st (or good prospect + later pick) for a 30-goal scorer.
