Anaheim declines doubt you'd get Manson without Liljegren heading the other way, Way too much for Dante Fabbro.

Leaving yourself with all that money it would probably be wise to spend it on a reliable 2nd/3rd liner. Fast, Namestnikov, Haula, all good options that could be in that price range. Could round off the offence very nicely.

That being said, Anaheim won't give up Manson and Rakell for that.

Dubas would be fired if he made that Nashville trade.

I think two years ago he had more, but he has had a tough transition to the NHL.

Add Ellis to the deal it might be a little closer.

Yeah, it's an overpay for Fabbro. But at the same time, it would need to be an overpay for NSH to consider trading Fabbro. He's young, on an ELC for another year, and should develop into a solid defenseman. He struggled somewhat last year, but he's got a very bright future. They'd accept that offer, but TOR wouldn't. Ultimately, NSH has no need or interest in trading Fabbro at this time.

I mean Fabbro is a decent player and all but he isn't worth that much,.

Manson is overrated and overpaid in my opinion. In only 50 games this year he only had 9 points and his totals both offensively and defensively have be declining over the last 2 years. He had that one great year back in the 2017-18 season but other then that he has been about an average 3rd pairing guy throughout his career. Yes you could argue that the stats improve on a better team, but when there are guys like Matt Roy and Brandon Montour who are younger, putting up good defensive stats on bad teams (no offence to Buffalo and LA fans), and who will come for a much cheaper price (Both trade wise and against the cap), it doesn't make sense to me to trade for a guy like Manson who has had a couple bad season's in a row.

That's just my personal opinion on Manson, I know it may not be a common one, but I mean the stats don't lie.

I think a lot of people on here are going to be upset when they see what he actually gets traded for this offseason (and I would imagine he is traded). None of the posters on here thought Kapanen had much value, and look what the Leafs got for him.

As we have all learned, no matter what they say, people on here have no idea what any player is worth.
