As much as Erikssons contract is bad ur giving up wayyyyyy too much to get rid of it. Buying him out could honestly be a better option. Though it will cost you 5 mill the first year it is only 3 mil the second and like 600k for like 2 more years. I dunno just a thought.

is it really a lot? Lind is in AHL..... and is stuck behind Boeser, Toffoli, and Anderson in this ACGM... might as well deal him...... Woo is expendable with Joulevi, Rathbone, Rafftery in system ahead of him. this is the cost to take Sven, and Louie contract. in order to remain competitive for years to come this move has to be made.

CBJ don't want Virtanen, and we'd keep Anderson if that contract was all it took. He's either signing 4 years or longer with a bare minimum of $3.5M AAV (likely higher) or he'll take his $2.1M QO and walk to UFA next year.

No doubt moves need to be made to dump cap especially with guys like Sutter, Beagal, Sven, Eriksson and Lou's recapture penalty absolutely eating up space needed to re-sign the absolute stud of pettersson. I just fel like getting rid of good futures just to dump cap isn't that good of an idea. Look at Boston's Backes trade, or even the Leafs trading Marleau, dumping salary shouldn't cost you a fortune.

Basically outside of Woo it's basically crap for Detroit. Baertschi is garbage Stetcher would more then likely be a $3 million bottom pairing RD for us we can go with the cheaper Gustav Lindstrom instead. Don't know much about Kole Lind but this doesn't move the needle enough for us to take on Loui Eriksson's contract and would he even waive to go to Detroit very doubtful he would.

There is not a single chance that the flyers retain on ghost for an overpaid fourth line winger. That's one of the more outrageous ghost trades that I've seen on here.
