Better to keep the four futures. And it's likely one RW acquired, not two. I would go for Palmieri.

oh no doubt. That trade for boeser doesn't really make sense for the Bruins. They become to thin in prospects and it really hurts the future forward group.

Palmieiri deal looks good.

No one will escape VAN without some of their dead weight. Could get creative though...Boeser/Eriksson for Kase/2nd. Then find 3rd team to take Eriksson/Beacher/Lauko for nothing. Just a thought.

How would you rate Bjork? Devils fan here, we love Palmieri but if the right deal comes along it may be necessary to move him and Boston is a good fit for what he brings.

Bjork is an extremely solid player. He has 20 goal potential in him, but if he never reaches that, he is still an effective third liner. If it were not for injuries in his first two seasons, I would guess he would be playing the offwing on the second line to krecji's right and scoring 20 goals and 20-30 assists per year. He still has the upside in him. Tends to turn the puck over a lot, but those are growing pains, and they happen when he is trying to do just a little too much. With guidance and support, (and not the Boston media down his neck) I think he can be a really valuable NHLer.

Bjork is ridiculously intriguing. A year ago I was on here saying that the potential is just that, but he’s proven nothing. Well, towards the end of the year and in the bubble he was showing some more NHL strength and his speed is something. Just like any prospect, he could wind up as nothing, but he certainly has real good second line winger potential. It would not take much for him to be a 20 goal guy, and he has the skill set where if he manages to develop a rick Nash net drive, 30 isn’t crazy. The range of outcomes for him is really quite vast in my opinion.

Can play both wings and up and down the lineup...it was rumored that NJD liked him a lot at last trade deadline.

I have the Bruins moving him here, but I really don't think they will trade him. They just signed him to a VERY nice extension. I really hope they hold onto him and he gets an opportunity to shine next year. If you watched game 5 against tampa this year, the Bruins best line was bjork coyle and studnicka. They possessed the puck like crazy, and I think the shot attempts were like 20-1 in their favor 5v5. I hope Cassidy has them as L3 on opening night.

Imagine if Cassidy didn't waste time and scratched Ritchie from the beginning

I didn't see that game, but know that Shero was building around speed, puck possession, especially liked guys who could (a) pull the puck off boards and (b) carry through nz. Not sure where Fitzgerald goes with what Shero left him.

Wouldn't give all that for Boeser. Palmieri is intriguing but think NJ has the thought process they can get more for him.
