Other Flames fan here. Jankowski prolly not gonna get a q.o. Sign him as an FA and please keep Risto to yourself.

Not too bad. Im not sure I want Reinhart for 6 years. I'd rather have Anderson at about 1.5-2.0 million cheaper.

Also rather than trading for Hjalmarsson, I would rather sign Borowiecki for a few years.

If Tampa trades Cirelli Julien BriseBois will want a similar C coming back not futures that might be 2-3 years away from making the team. Tampa is in win now mode and futures do them no good. At least include Mittelstadt in the deal geesh.

If a team has a similar center to trade they don't need Cirelli...bottomline is they keep Cirelli and trade a couple players that don't have NMC's like Point and Paquette. Cirelli doesn't have arbitration rights so he has no leverage yet.

I can't imagine they'd trade Point before Cirelli and I doubt Paquette will fetch anything much due to the circumstances.

If that's what it would take then fine.

Reinhart is a far better player than Anderson. Anderson has had 1 great year and a couple ok years and a wasted one this past year. Reinhart trends upward every year.

Hjalmarsson is a great defensive dman which is what I was going for. Borowiecki isn't a terrible alternative but he has no where near the same value defensively.

I'd rather acquire Bennett to be honest but I just don't feel like watch Flames fans.... well.... flame up in anger lol

No chance Tampa trades Point. He is likely going to win the Conn Smythe and is on a team friendly deal.

I can't see them letting Cirelli go unless he receives a OS they can't match. He's young and controlled, can sign a 2 yr bridge deal if necessary.

Agreed, but if they have to move Point to free up enough cap to match an offer sheet then they just keep the o/s compensation and let Cirelli go. Cirelli is excellent but Point is just soo much better
