With all due respect my friend, the Habs are overflowing in LD. They literally have TOO MANY. The only reason they'd trade Mete is because they don't have any more place for him
Klefbom is paid too much to play 7th D.
Because Chiarot, Edmundson and Romanov are under contract for the next 3 years at least on LD.
With Kulak being a very very solid 7th.
And 3 EXCELLENT LD prospects are all in the pipeline: Norlinder, Harris and Struble.

If there is one trade that will never ever happen, it's to go get another LD. Habs president would fire Marc Bergevin immediately.

Valid point. Although, I think Klefbom is better than all we have on LD right now. But it's true if he comes in, there is still too much $ on LD. Perhaps Chiarot or Edmundson could go to with Mete. Yet, all of this is very unlikely.
