I wouldn't move our first in 2022, that's supposed to be a really deep draft.

Remember in 2 years we will be a contender for the cup.

Zero reason for the Jets to make that trade.

That's the hope but far from guaranteed. Prospects don't pan out all the time.

Did Melnyk rob a bank or what?

Seriously, they need a D, and Sanderson is likely available.

What kind of incentive does buffalo have to make that trade? A late first round pick, an early second, in the middle third with a prospect does not entice anything. At least include a blue chip NHL ready prospect if you think you’re going to make this deal.

There is nothing of value for the sabres to trade down in that offer.

As a Jets fan I can honestly say they kind of need everything.. Lol

Need dmen though they have some pretty solid looking D prospects, they're almost completely void of center prospects and while they have good wingers they have few winger prospects, honestly whoever they get at 10th overall should be of use/need sooner then later as long as they don't select a bust!

This trade suggestion makes no sense for the Jets whatsoever.

I seriously need an explanation on that Jets trade. The prospects are both negligible, so the Jets are playing you a third and a seventh to likely move down from 10th overall (which should be the highest they pick for a while as their core enteres their prime) for a first in TWO years? What does WPG get?

Sharks aren’t stupid enough to screw themselves again by trading a future 1st. Especially not for Colin White...
