I agree but Talbot played well for the Flames last year. Plus, Ingram has had success at every level of hockey he has ever played so I think it's only a matter of time until he has similar success in the NHL.

I don't see where this team is any worst that last years. The only area where it could be worse is goaltending but between Talbot, Campbell and Ingram they should be able to string together some decent starts.

yeah but considering talbot will probably want more than you can afford in this scenario idk if that'll happen

That's the tradeoff with Pietro.

You either have a mediocre bottom 6 or you play the goalie market on unreliable veterans/young goalies

personally, i think dylan demelo and a decent bottom 6/ middle 6 winger (marcus foligno) is all the leafs need

NSH declines. The only way Ingram might become available is if the Preds draft Askarov.

If it was say DeMelo + you trade for another #3 RHD, I"d be fine with that, but you're using some of the forward assets

i think holl and lehtonen would split the bottom 4 minutes on the right side but yeah as some depth rhd theres probably a few on the market

Ideally it's

Rielly - RHD Trade (Dermott/Liljegren +)

Muzzin - Demelo

Lehtonen - Holl

Gives Sandin time to develop
