I think the Flames accept that to be honest. I hate giving up either Monahan nor Gawdin but I suspect it's the type of deal that gets it done.

There would be more involved in the Calgary deal.

Calgary probably won't move Glenn Gawdin, they expect him to play big minutes for them in 20/21.

Can't see the Flames having any interest in Donato, they would need Kunin or JEK, or else they look elsewhere

I like the Flames trade, don't like the Rangers trade. I think we should hold on to Beckman, especially since Andersson has been very underwhelming in the NHL so far. Greenway for Georgiev is close imo, maybe a slight add is in order.

Flames are reportedly looking for a right shot grittier forward, so I wonder if Kunin would be their ask over Donato. Just speculation, of course.

I think it would be something like Dumba/Kunin for Monahan and something else. My inclination would be Matthew Phillips, but what would interest MIN?

I have been thinking that Monahan and Kylington for Dumba and Kunin makes way too much sense. Would that be too rich for the Flames? Not sure how much you value Kylington.

I think the Flames would absolutely move Kylington.

The past 2 deadlines they've added D to bump him out of the lineup, which is too bad because he has higher upside than the Forbort and Fantenberg's of the world.

The Wild could use a younger right D on the bottom pairing to eventually replace Hunt. That's why I think Kylington is perfect. I'll forge Billy's signature if you forge Trelivings!

Edit: LD not RD

Kylington played RD his whole life until coming to NA if that makes any difference.

It would be funny, no disrespect to the Wild, but they have the reputation of being a little boring. Calgary radio was laughing at the idea of Monahan on MIN because he has almost no personality, hence the nickname "Boring Sean Monahan" heading to MIN
