Description
It's no secret the Wild are looking to trade for or develop depth at centre! I believe it will be best to rebuild from the ice up. Get as many good potential prospects you can and put them on the Iowa Wild to develop until their ready to step up to the NHL. In the meantime we may suck and get another top 10 pick or two if we're lucky! The Parise trade is very likely since the Wild almost did it at the deadline and the Wild are cleaning house on the veterans of the complaisant and average team of the last decade. Calagary is rummored to be very interested in Dumba but will probably have to give up a little extra for Monahan. All of the prospects are listed on the roster so you can see them but I would keep them in Iowa and call them up periodically to get a taste but don't ruin their confidence by placing them on a team that will be going nowhere for at least a few years. There's a lot of work to do!

One of the biggest reasons why they acquired staal was for Mittlestadt or cozens to play alongside him on the wing.

Calgary doesn't have much center depth so it's probably take more than Minnesota would be willing to give up to get him

That Buffalo trade is... Something else

A parise deal is probably dead at this point

Why would Toronto do that? Dubnyk has no spot so they're just paying to bring in salary cap, something that makes no sense for Toronto of all teams to do

If you want Dylan Cozens Buffalo wants Fiala or Kaprizov. See how that goes? Never gonna happen.

LOL

If those are the solutions for MIN center problems, this is not alarming at all 🙊

Mittelstadt for Kunin or Greenway maybe would make sense, but we don't trade Cozens
