I think the canes would seriously consider that but I don’t think they would move Suzuki. Would you do it for Bokk?

VGK would come back with a counter offer but McCrimmon is getting an ECG as we speak and his wife is not happy with you. Thanks for that. wink

I think Suzuki is too good to move and bokk is a better choice but thats still a tough price to pay

But I doubt these trades happen, especially the Josi trade

I don't see Winnipeg having any interest in that deal.

This is a lot of fun to think about, but mostly unrealistic. But in this scenario, I would try to send Johansen to WPG -- they would give a better return than that and you'd probably only have to retain $1m as opposed to >$2m.

Looking at some of the pieces that you got back in trades, I wonder if there could be a deal with VGK centered around Ekholm and Hague+. Ekholm - Theodore // McNabb/Martinez - Schmidt is very solid and makes sense for their win-now mentality.

Johansen would be an interesting idea. I really wonder what the Jets would do if that were offered to them. He's still a really good player, but is a bit pricey. Nashville wouldn't move on from him in reality would they?

I would have no issue dealing bokk and a first for a guy who is guaranteed to get 50 point who is only 26

A lot of people on here like to think they would, but I really don't think it makes sense right now. And they wouldn't trade him to a divisional rival unless they were going for a rebuild. But he is a bit overpaid, and with a flat-cap and teams wanting to cut salary...anything can happen I guess.

So VGK is pushed against the cap, going to trade you 3/4 best prospects in the organization, also throw in an first and a second? Lol no.
