Detroit passes with their 2nd round pick, but I’ve seen a few people say they’re more comfortable with the Oilers 2nd rounder for what it’s worth. Personally I wouldn’t make the trade though, stop gap goalie is more likely I think.

The Jets don't need to move Perreault's contract. Strome is alright, but is more of a 3C and DeAngelo is an all offense, no defense defenseman which the Jets don't need. Plus he'll be looking for a big raise on this contract. Sorry.

Not really, Danault is defensive master center capable of putting the same offensive numbers as Buchnevich. In term of what they bring to a team you are more closer to contending with Danault on your team than Buch. The only reason I could agree with you is the UFA situation in 1 year but It's freaking NY, of course he would sign an extension.

I think I’d do one of our later 2nds but certainly not pick 32. I think it makes most sense for us to wait 2-3 years when we’re actually decent again before trading for a young goalie. Then he will have an actual NHL level defense in front of him and won’t be thrown into the fire
