That's a loss for Toronto. Giving up 2 players that provide positive impact and are under team control for multiple years for an overpaid winger that only succeeded cause he was on McDavid's wing, a 4th line winger that's easily replaceable from within the system, and a third pair d-man.. easy pass.

Seems like a big ticket for the erratic AA. Miller signing with Oilers.....that ain't happening.
Don't like the Leafs trading the needed Kerfoot. Like most people...like the "good" Kassian at 3.2m. But the "bad" Kassian, is a detriment to the team.

From an Oilers fan, if these were the moves that would be made in the offseason we would be disappointed.

AA and Benning are signed for too much, and Bear won't sign for that little. Trade is a meh. Your going to keep Russell's 4M cap hit and not even pencil him into the starting roster?

So Leafs give up the 2 best players in the trade, take on more cap and gives up picks??? Interesting. 🙄🙄
