Don't think Vladar is available with the extension he just signed.

Can’t see Habs moving Primeau period.

Darth. With Rask and Halak both on final year i don’t see them moving him even though they have Swayman and Keyser. But if they got an offer they could not refuse...sure. But they are not shopping him.

Primeau is the future of montreal so they aint moving him. Same with Vladar. Basically everyone is the future of their respective franchise so all wont be moved.

Honestly just go look at Carolina they got 6 goalie prospects and Dubas could probs trade for one. (Eetu or Pyotr)

Ingram isn't available. NSH has almost no goalie depth and he just signed a 3 year extension. With Rinne likely gone after next season (but could sign one final 1-year deal), Ingram could be in the NHL as soon as 2021-22. He should get some games in the 2020-21 season as well.

Are they going to develop primeau for the next 5 years?

In my opinion the Habs should sell high on primeau and select goalies in the 21 and 22 draft.

Unless you think there is some sort of trade market for price. The Habs rent on their young players will be going up and a 15m+ goalie tandem is not going to be an option in the future.

Who said anything about a $15m+ tandem ?

Primeau has 2 years left on his ELC and then shouldn't be hard to bridge for an extra 2 or 3 seasons at a reasonable amount. At that point Price would have either 1 or 2 years left on his deal with Weber and Petry likely retired.

So where's the problem ?

have you seen how games are split by good teams nowadays?

Price will play 45-50
Primeau will play 30-35
