    I doubt anyone would offer close to the max, especially WPG, but if that were the case the isles might trade pulock for a top 6 winger or 1st + A prospect

    Weird that you can handwave Lowry to "anywhere", but you can't handwave Leddy or Bailey. Huh.

    I mean, I handwave trade Leddy all the time, not saying you can't, but it's weird to do one thing yourself, but then say "that's too hard, it won't happen" whenever someone brings up that the Isles can also make trades to shed cap,

    They couldn’t get rid of eberle because he has a NTC (wouldn’t want to trade him anyways) but let’s assume in a worst case scenario they had to retain 1 mill each on bailey and Leddy. That frees up 9.5 in cap space. Buying out clutterbuck is another 1.6. So add that to 8.9 we already have, so that gives the isles roughly 20 mill in cap space

    Leddy’s contract isn’t that bad but the fact that all those players combined make like 1/4 of the cap is disguisting
