Yup, unfortunately that is the case give or take $500K on the signings and give or take a year. I sure hope they bring back Maatta and find a trade partner for De Haan though. Move murphy to the left with Boqvist, Keith with Mitchell and Maatta and Koekko.

He's not arbitration eligible and will get between $3M and $4M for a 2 or 3 year

I agree, but I wouldn't mind a courtourer type deal like 6 years x 4.5 mil

That may be true, but it could be the Wrong season to be holding out for more. Take the bridge (2 years), and play your ass off, and produce. Then he can dictate terms with his next contract.

The way I see it, he hasn’t been consistent enough to get that big pay day.
