Gotta love this site sometimes.

I attempt to trade for 2 of the biggest draft busts of the past 15 years and people lose their mind.

There is nothing better than going to a Buf post that interacts with CGY and see your dusty response to every single one. Honestly man get a grip on the value of pepole outside of your team.

I know everyone has some bias but you my man have never once said anything here that remotely sounds realistic or true.

lol alright man, please tell me, is the bias not wanting to trade a good, young player for your 4RD who isn't worth his QO, or is the bias not wanting to trade top line players for a pile of extras?

Al of the above.

Montour is not a 4RD. He is worth his QO.
Ill give you that bennet has value and I would want to keep him but he is comparable to a more offensive Johan Larsson. Even though he sucked all regular season. Bennet is somewhere between a 4c and a 3c and other than him being a former top 5 draft pick his value is not super high. and a 3rd is a joke offer for a puck moving RHD.
You can disagree with the trade and say that you would want to keep Bennet because you like him but saying that the value is wrong on that trade is nonsense

If Montour is so good, why is he traded in 90% of Buffalo ACGMs (usually for around a 2nd or 3rd or as a throw in for a top line player), and is either the 3rd (if Risto or Miller is dealt) or 4th RD in the rest, usually unsigned or signed for less than his QO? The value is definitely not more than a 2nd at best, I wouldn't wanna give up much more than a 3rd. If you're mad that Calgary won't trade Johnny or Mony to Buffalo for Mittelstadt, Montour, and a 2nd then stay mad I guess, you gotta give up quality to get anything worthwhile.

He is traded because we have

a.) 5 RHD
b.) he needs a new contract
c.) the GM who traded for him got fired
d.) we are rumored to have an internal 70 million cap and see a, b, c.
