Yeah Thomas is a no go. I don't see Minnesota doing that either. They could get so much more for Dumba, and that first round pick could mean a lot to this team.

Interesting. Donato might be pretty decent in out top 6 honestly, but I'm not sure he's the spark we need. Either way I'd say it's probably a fair trade.

I think he could benefit from playing with players like Hertl or Meier. He has never gotten a shot to play with the Wild’s top players and most likely never will with the surplus of wingers they have.

I'd absolutely say yes from SJ.

I figured. He needs to play in the top-6 to be effective and he won’t get that chance in MIN. I do like the player though.

I think he is a ridiculously undervalued asset, even before looking at stats, no brainer move to accept that.

I'd hope we could get a 2nd for Donato, but at this point I'm not sure we could. He proved he has the shot to play in the top 6 with 14 goals averaging under 11 minutes per game, he just needs the opportunity.

Greenway for Jost is intriguing. Jost is speedy which I think we need more of, but I don't know much more about him than that.

Dumba straight up for Thomas is close, but a 1st for Steen at this stage of his career is too steep!

That’s by far the most intriguing Jost trade I’ve seen on here. I think that could be a win win. Avs accept.

I like these ideas a lot although I doubt Thomas is even an option at this point. I'd also like to get more for Donato, even though that is probably not possible at this point. I think we might have to add a mid round pick to get Jost (maybe not) but imo that'd still be worth it

Call me crazy but I'd consider it. He's a stud, I wouldn't be shocked if he's a ppg center in the next couple years.

Yep he was 2 secondary assists short of the team lead for 5v5 pts this season. Once he is in a full time top6 center role with wingers that can finish (I'd like to see Schenn-Thomas-Tarasenko) and running a PP he's gonna put up some big numbers.

Avs and Min hate each other but that trade does make sense for both sides.

While I think Dumba will get a strong return I don't think STL would move Thomas.

Sometimes you have to put the hatred aside if it means both teams can make each other better.
