This should be the contracts of the "big four" and the team in 2020.
If i was GM this NO BEARDS and have a TOUGH hockey market in Toronto because someone needs to knock some sense into this team.

If I was the GM I would have signed Tavares at 11M, kept Nylander at what he's at even though I think he's worth 6-6.5M, and I would have traded both Matthews and Marner to put a better more complete team on the ice.

if i was gm i would have done something crazy. Kept the the 3 (marner, matthews,nylander), robbed the sabers of O'Rielly (Marleau + 1st + Johnsson and 1 prospect <-- equivalent of what blues payed for him) and kept Kadri and our 3 centers

if franchise player is prepared to play in your Team for 2M less then he was offered elsewhere, you take it, but after you sign Matthews and Marner for the money you pointed instead overpaying them by 1,5M ( or 2 years in Term )
