Pass on Domi, I'll go for Danault if that's of interest.

I was debating replacing the CAR 1st with Ryan Suzuki but I'm not fond of flipping players acquired by other trades. Flipping picks is already borderline exaggerated.

Really?? I figured Domi put up 72 pts while playing with Drouin that entire season so i took into consideration what he can actually do with the stacked top 6 wingers you guys got.

I thought the players involved in the trade were enough. No need to add 5 1st round picks

We need a good defensive center behind Zibanejad. Strome does exactly what Domi would do in a good year.

So you think that 72 pt season was a flash and he'll hover around 55 pts regardless of how talented his linemates are?

Tbh yes. Domi is a good player but he goes on long stretches that are ice cold or scorching hot. Also both suck defensively.

It's definetly an exaggeration the amount of trades i made. But the trades themeselves are what I really want to see opinions on.

Sorry I'll have to disagree. i think WORST case Domi gets 65 pts perrenially in NYR. Despite his defensive game I think he can do more with the same linemates Strome would have.

Domi would center Kakko on RW and Panarin on LW. He'll get points. Just like Strome has. We need someone defensively.

IDK man. I still haven't seen a SJ comment yet. It's their perspective that really counts. If Hertls resigns it'd be awesome but if he doesn't I'll trade him. That's why I acquired Ryan Suzuki, if Hertl doesn't sign before he becomes UFA, hopefully Suzuki will be ready.

To me JA isn't the player he was last yr. It was an anomaly. I believe he's more of a 25/25 guy. He put up 27 goals 2 yrs ago and 25 of them were 5v5. Wennberg isn't the ideal C to bring out JA's true potential. Suzuki or Kotkaniemi are.

Ok but just remember what I said. Domi put up 72 playing with Drouin and Byron. Which means Strome gets 45 playing with the same guys. But it's all good I don't blame you either way going for Danault.

Avs pass on that for a guy w/1 yr remaining on his contract and isn’t better than Nichushkin or most of the other guys that spend time on COL’s 3rd line.
