I'll let you handle Holtby and I raise you: Why are we giving Hagg almost as much as Myers. Reduce Haggs AAV by a mil and Increase Myers by a mil. You can also probably reduce Nolan Patrick's AAV by 500-600k, but I won't get to into it here.

I mean I actually believe our first could be used in a salary dump move, not likely, but I think it could be. However, like, what were you thinking here? The last player on the entire free agent market the Flyers would sign is Braden Holtby I'm pretty sure. And yeah, that Hagg contract is a little high no? There is also a slight possibility they let Hagg walk, if they had a target in mind where they'd need the cap.

6 million does seems a lot for a backup goalie which what he would be on the flyers.
van Riemsdyk still has 3 years remaining so Ottawa would not make that trade to move up from 33 to 23 in the draft.
