Description
Pietrangelo moving is something blues fan might have to live with, but Tarasenko moving is something I feel could also very be possible.

As for NJD giving up Severson & their 7th overall, I feel the devils were ready and willing to turn their rebuild around last year and could very well still do. If they strike out on both Dadanov & Hoffman who I feel will sign with other teams, this could be a good addition for the Devils. Severson is someone who has been in trade talks lightly and a serviceable replacement for Pietrangelo. As for the 7th overall, assuming Holtz would be the most ideal pick, he would be the trade replacement down the line for Tarasenko, the replacement for the time being would be Phil Kessel

Kessel to STL was a move many speculated during the off season he was moved to ARZ, but I feel pulling the trigger to keep STL as a contender would be reasonable. He not only has chemistry with Bozak from TOR, but could eat up big minutes in the top 6 due to injury (despite me having him on the 3rd line with Bozak) but as seen with the HBK line, used correctly in the middle 6 he could be a deadly force. As for Raantta, seeing Binnington be quite shaky this playoffs would give STL an excuse to trade for a stable backup in Raanta. With ARZ likely going full blown rebuild, I could see them taking on Faulk as placeholder top defender likely eating up minutes with Chychurin as I believe ARZ moves OEL. Walker & Pouliot both can be depth 1 year options for ARZ if they do go full rebuild move as I predict.

The Dunn contract is exactly the same as Darnell Nurse’s bridge deal he got with EDM the past few seasons. STL convinces Dunn to take the bridge deal for 2 years, by that time, Schwartz will likely be on a new contract, Steen & Bozak likely will be let go, Kessel & Perron will both be need of new deals, STL can choose who to bring back during that off season as well hopefully integrate Holtz in the lineup.

Considering Maroon is a 1 and very possibly 2 time Stanley cup champion, I could see him take a step back from cup chasing, and settle down on a somewhat long term deal on a team to move his family. Maroon did win a cup in STL but as well is a St Louis native.

Connauton & Folin are nothing but depth DEF options (chose not to sign any FWD depth I feel they’re deep enough)

Kessel only has two years left. Why would Arizona want to commit to Faulk's terrible contract in exchange?

If I'm Montreal I'll take Tarasenko and let you dump Bozak or salary in exchange for a 16 overall pick, Max Domi, a couple 2nd rounders you want, Ryan Poehling and Josh Brooks

Kessel's owed less than a million dollars this year and 5.1 next. Faulk makes 18M real dollars those two years. Nonstarter.

Maybe Sundquist and futures or something. Keeps the dollars close to even over the next two yrs.

Tarasenko just had 2 back to back shoulder surgeries because the 1st one seemingly didnt work as well as they thought. I doubt teams are gonna trade a high first rounder + for him, especially one that isnt going to contend for a couple years.
