Lol I love that the Kerfoot Kassian trade is now making its rounds lol - I like it, it was my idea, Kassian should have get an A on his jersey, TO needs a guy willing to stab players with his skates

Kassian would be fantastic for TO, Kerfoot I like but really we have so many Kerfoots it's annoying

Kassian would be awful because he is awful. He's a winger only who has a terrible contract and cant even break 30 points unless he's glued to the best hockey player in the world. He isnt even good defensively.

Kinda like Andreas Johnsson or Nylander maybe or Hyman is Hyman only a top 6 because he has Matthews and Tavares to grab hold of? No one is aquiring Kassian for his offensive game breaking skill

except that Kassian doesnt do what you're implying he does. People still run and slash and trip mcdavid all the time while Kassian stands there with his angry face on. Then he goes and does something retaliatory and gets a penalty and the other team laughs at Kassian while he makes the same angry face from the penalty box or the bench

Now that's a fair statement - is it possible he could be utilized better in that role with a little discipline and direction

not really, he's just not very good at anything. if he was really cheap he might be an ok 4th liner, but he's not.

Toronto needs to stay VERY far away from Kassian. They have just been riding their team of overpaid bad players, don't trade for one.

The only thing that's good here is signing Johan Larsson. Everything else is stinky.

Tampa is matching that offer sheet for Cernak. Don't give me the BS about how they can't, they will make moves to find a way. If Toronto really wants him, they probably have to offer the Penguins pick and I'm not sure that gets it done.

Didn't mean to copy your trade thought it was original lol but Kerfoot on Edm makes sense, he can be a speedy winger with McDavid or a stop gap 3C

Lol no worries, I threw out there a few days ago and leaf fans are losing thier minds over it lol
