I very much love uncle Rico, but with the young (hopefully developing) depth at C that the Ducks have, I'd take this deal.

I think you a 'sure' from DET. I like Nemeth, he's a good stay at home Dman. Could be a good partner for Seider if he plays up this season.

But DET gets a pick, and a young player to hopefully fill in a C role..... sure.

The thing is we have Merk, Mcleod, Kook, and Boqvist now in the pipeline for center. Zacha was one of Lou's last picks. He's great defensively, but he lacks skill in scoring. He needs a new home.

Detroit accepts, I've always liked Zacha maybe he can rejuvenate his career there.

I'm sure the Wild are itching to have a $9m cap hit defenseman on their 3rd pairing. Pretty sure Parise's NMC says no anyhow.
