Really good trade targets for BUF I think. I don't think the VAN deal goes through though. And DET deal is interesting and would be a smart move by DET if they think he can play top 6. All in all, it's a good looking team, but the VAN deal is lacking.

Agreed on the VAN deal. The biggest thing the Canucks need is cap flexibility, so using two cheaper roster players to acquire one more expensive one just doesn't make sense for them. Unless that one player is a real game breaker, which Risto is not.
