Love Raymond and want him at 5, but if Ottawa passes on Byfield at 3, I might become a Seattle fan. The most easiest pick and the perfect franchise center that we've been waiting for. They can't leave the draft without a future 1C.

No hate to the person who made the mock and who knows right? but this one is off and I might make the same decision as you if my team(ducks) picked Sanderson 6th OA.

Even if Montreal Drafted Mercer he wouldn't be Paired with Suzuki and Caufield as he is an RW and Montreal's coaching staff has shown a preference for playing players on their stick side with the exception being out of necessity. Also, our LW pool is by far our weakest in quality and RD is our Weakest in Quantity

The willingness to play players on their off-side depends on how comfortable they are playing there. But yeah, Caufield is a RW, and the habs aren’t going to put 3 right handed players on the same line.
