Montreal doesn't need to trade Alzner's cap this year. We'd be better off buying Alzner out next year or trading him when his value will be better.

I don’t think is value will be higher. If you have a chance to pass him you have to do it. I guess they will ask for a 2022 draft pick instead because they have too many in 2020 & 2021

I mean less negative. It will be less to get rid of his cap hit for 1 year than 2 years. Also, if that's what it costs, Montreal will just keep the cap hit anyways. We don't need it
