FYI, Kreider and Trouba's NMCs do not kick in until after the draft so the Rangers could conceivably trade them although I don't believe it is likely

Yeah and Gorton would lose credibility with his players, So players sign and right before their NMCs kick in he trades them. Got news for that would hurt the team in the long run as no ones going to want to play for a team like that.

Would Kreider be happy to be the teams 3LW for 6 seasons? He’ll be 2LW this year but if Laf is as good as projected, CK will move to line 3 in 2 seasons.
