my bad take out Connor and the third pick and the isles take back a 6 rounder. Isles don't have the capspace to take on another contract

If it meant dropping Eriksson, recouping a 1st and a top 4 dman? Canucks would be moron to say no to that.

What GM would be so crazy to offer Vancouver a 1st round pick for Boeser with Eriksson attached. Seems pretty far fetched to me.

I'd argue JVR is overpaid by 1-1.5M, but is worth every bit of 5.5M and slightly overpaid middle six winger at 6M. I'd also argue that Woods is overpaid by 1 - 1.5 million and is a fourth line LW, especially on our depth chart.

If both players are overpaid by similar amounts, I am for sure not retaining as well without another asset coming our way.

From Canucks pov intriguing trade but I'm not sure if that's the direction they want to move in - losing boeser to get severson is one step forward, one step back. Would rather see something like
Eriksson + Virtanen + gaudette/name your pick (3rd?) for severson
