Additional Details:
This trade needs work, but I've heard Vegas might want to change up the core a bit and if they can't get Pietrangelo maybe they look at Dumba. I figure if the Wild are willing to take the whole MAF contract that should be worth something as well.
Give me your thoughts on this one.

As a Detroit fan I like it and honestly I'd be ok with no retention. It's only one season and Detroit needs a 2nd goalie.

I'm good with that for Sharks as well.

Gets us a cheap backup and a cheap-ish 3LW with upside

I like Karlsson a lot better than Domi, but I'd still rather have Monahan or Cirelli. Dumba is the best player in the trade imo and with the cap space coming back I think Vegas needs to add.

I can't really see the Knights trading Karlsson, at least until Glass or Krebs can step up as 1C.

Sharks accept, though I'd prefer we go after a better goalie than Stalock.

VGK isn’t trading Wild Bill, you want a center then Statsny is available.

No thanks on Stastny. I doubt they are moving Karlsson, just something I heard speculated.

Karlsson isn't a ideal number 1, but it fits @MNBassman s dream of 3 2nd lines.

Karlsson would be perfect for Minnesota but I can’t see them trading their 1C without a real replacement. I also doubt they’d tank his value by tying him to Fleury

Stalock has played like a 1B almost a 1A he’s the best possible option for backup at the best possible price. He can overtake Jones if he falters or just spell him as needed. Either way this trade is great value for us

That’s not a bad thing! There have been lots of Cup winning teams that had 3 2nd lines at Louis is the most recent

You don’t need to put up PPG+ to be a 1C. ROR and Wild Bill are both great defensively.

No, I'm good with 3 2nd lines. In case there is any confusion my comment wasn't a shot at MNbassman.

Ok! I love the idea of 3 good lines over 1 amazing line 1 borderline 2/3 line and a weak 3rd.

I’m with @TanSor here and think Vegas needs to add. Take Fluery out, and its close to a 1:1 deal. Having Karlsson and Ek as 2 of the Wild’s top 3 centers for the foreseeable future would be just fine by me! IF Khovanov pans out, and Sturm continues on his path, they would have a very nice blend of attributes at the center spot!
Perfect scenario with this trade would be if Sanderson was picked at 9, or trade back (or back into the 1st round) and get LHD Guhle to be the #2 behind Brodin someday...

Karlsson, Ek, and Lundell would be awesome too!
