Description
To be completely honest, with the season shutting down when it did and everything being so out of line, I am having a hard time gauging anybody’s trade value. Especially when they are a restricted free agent. I’m just trying to see what it might cost the kings to add to their top six for the time being.

I think it’s good for all parties. They get another centreman who could be the third line guy behind KK and Nick Suzuki once Phillip Danault leaves Montreal. They get a good enough LHD, something the Habs need but would likely be filled by the arrival of Joel Edmundson and Alex Romanov. As for the pick, they could get someone good here.

Not a bad offer, but I think MTL could be offered one asset with a higher value than every piece of that package, like a top 15 pick or a young winger NHL ready.

No use of second round pick or LHD prospects as they have plenty already.

Honestly, not a bad offer! Not what we need if we are looking to trade him tho. We're pretty set down the middle and at LD prospect wise. The pick is nice to, basically being almost 1st round pick, I just don't see us trading actual core players for future assets. The president said himself the retool is over, he's looking to go back at contention sooner than later and that's what Bergevin will do if he trades important pieces. He will try to replace them with actual good nhl players even if himself have to add future assets. That's just my opinion but I'm pretty sure it will happen like that if it happens.

Any chance he moves to the wing?

Tbh, you could drop one of the 2 players. The pick itself is very high.

Don't see him being on the Kings. Even if it was for that price, I'm not sure I'd do it

He could become a power forward but he plays a 200 ft game, not much offense but could become a Danault 2.0. I would keep him in Laval for insurance and if Danault is staying, he’s moving to the wing or being trade in a big package

You can drop Clague we really don’t need him so Kupari + 2020 2nd is more fair but like my habs fellow said, we aren’t looking for future

Not bad. I'd still decline though.. not a tremendous need anymore C or LD prospects with Kupari and Clague, although I'd still be interested in Kupari being a righty. Thomas, Kaliyev, or Madden would be the other prospects I'd want to be included without asking for the obvious (Turcotte, Fagemo, Bjornfot).

Kupari + Thomas/Madden + 4th?
Kaliyev + 2nd?

Unless he wants 8M like reported then we will gladly fleece you bc Kupari ain't making the NHL.

Kupari is a RW. Kaliyev, Madden, and Thomas are off limits. Madden is a C.

fair enough. I remember Kupari at the draft was listed as a C, guess he converted to the wing.

So question for you...why would Kupari be available and the others are off limits???

I don't believe he will, if he does he'll be a bottom sixer at best.
