Description

After next year's signing bonus is paid on July 1st, we would need to move Okposo. He will only be owed 6 million total over the last two years of his deal and is still a decent player and a good leader once you get over his cap hit so hopefully someone will be willing o take him on with a draft pick for good faith. After Ullmark goes to Seattle and Okposo is traded there's plenty of room to give Dahlin his 9 x 8 and Joki his 4 x 5. Plus space to retain Mikheyev and the kids will get to step in (Asplund, Mittsy, Tage, Samuelsson, Bryson etc.)

were not trading Mikheyev. Especially for Miller lul

Mikheyev was on pace for 50 points before the injury. He plays a good 2 way game and can fill in a top 9 role both LW/RW with us.

Dubas plans on keeping him and he wont cost much to resign so pass

The difference between Markstrom and Ullmark is small enough that that contract makes it completely not worth it.

Pietrangelo obviously isn't coming to buffalo and that cap hit is crushing.

Virtanen signs for more.

No thanks. I'd rather run Stolarz out there and use the other $2 mil elsewhere, or sign another backup for half the cost.

he has to accept it and all indications are he wants to stay in toronto and toronto wants to keep him. His agent was thankful for what Dubas did and said it would play a factor in the contract negotiations.

If buffalo wants to lose their 2020 2nd for him good luck cause he aint taking it.
