I like the concept but Nylander isn't getting that return,

This trade is multiplying? Leafs don't do it, regardless of how good people think the return is. Leafs want to win now.

If The leafs luck out and get AP at a reasonable cost moving Nylander is a smart move. Colorado’s 1st and Timmins is a solid return. Adding AP and Timmins to the RHD really improves the right side going forward. If they want to fill the hole from Nylander that first can be flipped for a solid winger.
