When you sign Lehner you won't need him. Dumping 2.5 million this year and 4.5 Next year is probably preferable to a buyout for 2.5 Million the next 4 years.

Fluery is still worth something, Vegas will get better offers. Even a package of picks is more interesting

i think you'd be right but i don't think you will find enough cap space on a team to make the deal without taking a contract back russel's is an easy one to take.

I think an ANA/DET/OTT becomes part of it and we send out a 3rd. We botched the situation, but we won’t need to take salary back

No from mtl. That’s not what we’re looking for and we’re not spending anymore cap to add to the depth that we have a ton of. High danger wingers like Puljujarvi is all we want from teams like Edmonton.

Buffalo could take on Fluery and not return as much salary or give back a little more salary than Russell and a much better player
