Alright Greiss in first Fast then Folgino to help right side

Created by: LoftyTealBlood
Team: 2020-21 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 20, 2020
Published: Sep. 24, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
No money left for bottom 6 which could be fine if Roy and Meloche are serviceable. Would the Wild be willing for a 3rd liner younger and faster that could use a change of scene for a spark. A center who is on the cusp to jump AND a 4th round pick for a guy with 1 year left on contract?!

Fast skater, good shot, will dish out hits, more of a LW at NHL level for now, slightly undersized for centre.
Was one of the top scorers in junior in his overage season

Floor likely be 4LW, ceiling 2LW or 3C

I honestly wouldn't want to give him up though

Yeah but with covid contracts already being signed a guy at that age doesn't look to bridge until after for his big deal? 2nd line minutes can add value to his next contract if he bets on himself. I think he gets the value squeeze many middle six do with cap strapped teams. Especially with a flat cap.
Also I think the Sharks ceiling on him would be 3.25 with a green light to spend to the cap. scraping money from the 6th and 7th d position and keeper contracts.

Yeah but with pretty much back to back knee surgeries I think his development got delayed. Just trying for a good chemistry fit for Vlassic really. Since Braun he doesn't seem to like anybody on his right. I guess we could try for Demelo if Winny doesn't/can't keeep him.
Roy doesn't need to be the point producer we originally drafted. Just need Pickles back on track, zone exits from his partner, and smart positional play. If Boogy wants some grit literally ask Pickles who and go get a Bogosian or something.

I think 4th line center but if he shifts to wing I think it could be either side really. His points aren't based on which side of the faceoff circle he starts from IMO but I agree with you I don't want him gone because injuries happen and I like him in the system for those.

I concur with the ceiling/floor estimate. He didn't generate many points last year, but he has very good speed and plays aggressively. I really don't want the Sharks to trade him before we see what offense he can produce (especially given the current sluggish state of the Sharks lineup).
