ARI would need to retain 50% on Stepan for the Rangers to consider it. Too much cap hit

Your most realistic deals are the Rangers (if Arizona retains more, still a maybe) and Edmonton (maybe). The rest very likely say no, with Vegas 100% saying no.

The Oliver Ekman-Larsson trade doesn't benefit Edmonton one iota, Edmonton has their own cap issues they can't afford to take on Ekman-Larsson's whole $8.25m salary without similar salary going back would need to be one of Klefbom/Nurse+Neal+Russell as a cap dump for them to take on that contract. And Benning already said he's not adding sweeteners to Loui Eriksson so they're stuck with him.

Logic I believe is LTIR to Vegas getting 1 year of not having to move a key player to sign Pietrangelo . One year cup run and then trades next off season after Seattle expansion draft. It is a little expensive but I can understand the allure

Hard no from Oil. Not trading Bear. Oil are continually short on RHD and had to trade Hall to get Larsson a few years ago. If you want to move OEL it has to be either a cash dump from us i.e. Neal or Russell or a LHD but similar cash has to go out for the cap.

i could see the Rangers doing that deal at the deadline, if they need center depth and the Andersson situation hasn't gotten better. I still think they'd want to move him for a younger piece, though.
