Initial Creation Date: Sep. 23, 2020

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Saw somewhere B's were in on Dadonov. Probably need to sign/trade for a LHD, i left some space to do so. Dillon, Hutton, among others. If there are names i havent thought of let me know! I was also in between on keeping Bjork/dealing Bjork. I could go either way, i decided that Stud needed a spot. I can also see him being traded separately from Moore as well.

i feel like at 4 years dadanov is going to want 1m more aav. but i would be perfectly comfortable going into the season with grz, vaak, zboril as my top 3 left shot dmen in that order. i do want dillon to beef up the back end a bit though he or grz would just be subject to being picked by seattle.

I guess it depends what kind of contract he wants and if he would fit well in Cassidy's system. He's already 31 so I would be reluctant to give 4+ years.

I dont disagree on the number... I hear ya about expansion. Who knows? Zboril almost made the team last year, and Vaak could put it all together. Zboril was a lot more complete in the A last year.

I fully expect that they will be in on Dadonov or Hoffman. Hall is unrealistic expectation. Toffoli won’t be available. So those will be the 2 best wings left.

Craig Smith is another cheaper target to watch for. I really like the idea of adding Jesper Fast as well but that’s unlikely.

If you’re talking about signing Dillon he will be much more than 2.5 mil, there are still some good names to target under 2.5 for D tho

Schenn or Del Zetto could be cheap targets and serviceable

Yes I know... you would have to drop about 800,000/1,600,000 out of cap b/c u would send down a D-man or 2. Which I think gets you a little closer. But may not be enough to get you there. May have to move salary out. Just think he would be a good fit

I would prefer smith in that situation. Lot of straight line speed, physicality. I think with the right linemates his goal scoring could get back up into the mid 20s. It muscles out Stud but the door will open up with injury/next year

Oh i meant both. Smith for RW2 and Fast for RW3.

I know, no way with cap and need for LD, was just saying.

I’m guessing 2.5 to 3 per. He’s one of those guys that does not stand out looking at stats. Watch him play for 82 games for your team and he’s one of your favorites. Does not do any one thing great, does everything well. Will contribute double digit goals 30 points. Hustles, hits, plays D. Kind of cross between Kuraly and Wagner but with more offense.

Boston is giving away Bjork as incentive to take John Moore?

I’d want more back for Boston in the Bjork trade. Yes the Bruins will need incentive to move Moore but i’d want something for Bjork as well.

In this case yes, could attach a pick to moore, and try to recoup assets back with Bjork as well. I was in between on doing that. I see both sides. Also see holding him and playing him L3 RW

Dont disagree. Was split on that, i also saw value in potentially attaching a pick to moore, and trying to recoup assets from Bjork. Or even holding Bjork and rolling him on L3 on RW.

I think for a lot of non-playoff teams that would be a great deal, especially if they are waiting on prospects to develop. Bjork would play bigger role...without costing much. Moore to fill time or just get bought out.
