Carter Hutton is a cap dump so Detroit wouldn’t be paying for him. I’d also pass on that Calgary deal as I think a team like Montreal would pay more for Tuch. Pietrangelo should be a little cheaper considering the cost of living in LV and there’s no state income tax property taxes are also cheap here.

If AP was to move from STL then Vegas is a great destination so I wouldn’t rule it out. Yes, AP has his roots in STL with his wife and three kids but if they don’t give into his demands and keep strong arming him then Vegas/Toronto are both great options.

They can have Fleury. He's not what the Sabres are looking for now.

Tuch would interest the Sabres....

Both teams would have to make unfavorable trades to make Pietrangelo happen. The Kapanen trade will be, by far, the exception to the basis of cap dump trades, not bad players players needed to be traded to get under the cap, this offseason...

If they can afford him he's already said that he's 100% going home to Toronto. If Dubas can't make the cap work maybe Vegas does something to snag him.

Yeah, I could see Marchy or possibly Tuch shipped off to make him fit. MAF I want to see go to a contender with a team like Detroit/OTT eating salary for futures to make the fit. The reports I’ve read is that he wants a NMC and signing bonuses at the end of the contract and seems okay with the ~8M. With how much Foley’s been upping ticket prices, he can afford it smile

Do you have the source to that?

I'd rather DET sign a G at FA, than give up assets for one.

Also - you trade Tuch, then stick the guy you get for him at 4C? Not seeing that as an improvement.
