If Arizona does that trade the leafs easily accept but I think you have to make that pick a 2nd not simply a 3rd

idk that is a lot of actually money the leafs are taking on. Plus I think Johnsson and Dermott would be good fits in ARI. that being said if upgrading the 3rd to a 2nd is what gets the deal done toronto should do it

Good concept on the trades. Don't know if Tanev is worth a 4.5m X 4. Maybe DeMelo at 3.25m X 3 leaves more cap wiggle room.

I agree, I think demelo is probably more durable/younger and we likely don't need to worry if he will stay healthy
