I don't see the wisdom in trading a top-4 RHD for a bottom-6 winger straight up. Especially when you replace him with an even more expensive 3rd pairing RHD!!

Neal isn't fetching a 5th, especially not from the notoriously cheap Eugene Melnyk facing a low-revenue future.

I have no idea what report said that was on the table, but it literally makes no sense in my mind... the only thing is that hes obviously bigger than Bjork. But i cant see B's signing Bjork to a 3 year deal to trade him for a 1 year player like Chiasson. I think they would include Bjork in a deal only for an upgrade or LHD

They should but Sweeney already made a stupid move with Heinen for Ritchie so who knows if he doesn't make another one here. Hopefully it's just a useless rumor.

I'm not sure, but my only guess would be that Barrie is a much better offensive d man, and that Larsson fits the type of player the Leafs would be looking for? Still think the Leafs would have to add a 3rd or prospect like SDA or Abruzzese.
