I honestly don’t see Columbus being a fit. The jets are going to want legit center of defence help, don’t see them parting with Jones, Werenski, or PLD.

    Additional Details:
It was noted that the jets like Nolan Patrick, now obviously it’s going to have to be more then that, because given the injury situation. He really doesn’t have that much value because he was injured all year.

"I honestly don’t see Columbus being a fit. The jets are going to want legit center of defence help, don’t see them parting with Jones, Werenski, or PLD." Agree on those three, but their 2nd pair on defense plus Anderson and Wennberg might almost add up to something.

That trade is very cool for WPG, would be something getting Patrick and Sanheim back to Manitoba.

      Edit:
It also makes a lot sense! Need Center and Defense, check check.

I don't know if the value is right but its a great idea.

As a Flyers fan I’m hoping they pull the trigger. Could have their own version of a Pasta-Bergeron-Marchand line with Laine-Coots-Konecny. Losing Sanheim would suck a lot but they have a lot of organizational depth at LHD with York and Zamula on the way.

Not sure Philly does this deal but I think the value is about right. Might see some draft capital move the other direction to even out (a third next year?) so its not three assets for one. Laine is very good but has his flaws.

There's risk for both teams in this trade as if Patrick becomes healthy that could be a huge loss and unless they think that Zamula is ready to play top 4 minutes next season there is a huge hole in the defense cause Hagg definitely isn't a top 4 dman and Ghost has been before but thats a huge chance they would be taking on him. I also think Laine himself is a risk with his struggles in his own end and how he can be invisible at times. Maybe I'm being a homer but when I break it down I feel like the Flyers are getting fleeced
