So you're giving Hank to COL for free? Why not just keep Hank? Do you really need Cole?

Cole has more use to us. Lundy would be third string and Cole is simply sheltering Miller.

I see. I can't see the Avs having a need or use for Hank, though; they won't carry three goalies.

Avs aren’t trading for a third goalie. They already have 2 under contract and Hank isn’t an upgrade as a back up so they won’t be moving Frankie out for him

Well, there's apples then there's apples. The point is that they would have three goalies all on one-way deals to whom they would owe their full NHL salary, can't send them to the minors and, most importantly, would be taking up a roster spot they might need to bring in another forward or defenseman. Carrying three goalies on an NHL roster isn't done because it is wasteful and pointless.
