Way too much for Krug. Doubt Yzerman goes more then 7 x 7,000,000, Detroit's not giving up a 2nd+3rd for Andreas Johnsson and Wennberg as been underwhelming in Columbus so no thanks.

Detroit is going to pass on all 3 trades. Leafs trade we’re giving too much up. CBJ trade doesn’t make sense for us to give up rebuilding assets for a player largely considered a cap dump - or at least not worth his contract - and I don’t think CBJ needs blue line help. Weal isn’t worth an early 5th to us, but maybe to a contender looking for depth.

Detroit isn't going from worst to playoff team, so, don't stall the rebuild.

Take some bad contracts or cap dumps from legit teams like Eriksson, Stastny, Bozak, Killorn along with draft capital or prospects to build around for future considerations.

I've seen enough Det fan comments to know that this could not be a Det fan proposing this ACGM.

Also, seeing as it would only cost CLB 1/3 of his salary, I think there is a pretty good chance Wennberg is a buyout candidate, so doesn't make sense for Detroit to give up that much for him.
