Easy Rangers decline. I'm not quite sure they accept even if you drop Buch...

remove the 1st.

I think that depends on if there's an extension in place first

These aren't bad trades but I think saying how much and how long they sign for is pretty important in a trade

a big prospect winger, AND a 1st?... nope... i like Danault, but that's not his value.

he's worth the 1st and Gauthier, even if extended

I think if u switch the canes pick to the 2021 first they might do it. It also depends on what the contract Gallagher is signing

With Danault you are a playoff team for sure (maybe need 1 more decent LD). That first is late and extended Danault is probably worth at least what JGP or Duchene got

The Danault trade is a bit too much. Buch and 1st seems reasonable, not sure NYR would go further than this. The Drouin trade ain't happening, the CAR trade doesnt make sense because Gally is worth more than that. The Tatar and Petry trade aren't crazy.

The point is, sure we get a lot of picks with this, but damn this team would take a huge step back with these moves.

You are spot on. The Drouin trade is close in value as it is basically

Domi for Anderson and a 1st

Drouin for Jenner + 3rd

Montreal would likely have to add a 3rd as well to make it even value but then why not just go Drouin + Domi for Jenner + Anderson + 1st

But Columbus won't want Drouin back, since it would cripple our cap situation. Domi is interesting, as is Danault, but we can't afford to take on Drouin, even with $1M retained.

Not sure if Dubinski is of any value to you. Would you consider buying him out if it makes any difference to your cap situation?

Dubinsky's going on LTIR, and his contract is 100% insured, so there's no $$$$ cost to us. It's a non-factor.

Yeah I was not saying that Columbus would take the deal just more laying out the value

Also, Jarmo's been very clear he's not willing to trade first-rounders, so that's one asset we won't offer.

I think the value is fair mainly cause both Domi and Drouin set career numbers playing together. ( I think Drouin tied career pts).

Extensions cannot be conditions anymore. There is either an extension in place or there isn't
